As Austria's largest non-ferrous metal machining company, we are already focusing on efficient digital precision machining processes with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.

• But how can digitalisation support us, not only in manufacturing but also in the very complex quoting and calculation process?
• What role can artificial intelligence play in this?

Today, we explored and discussed these very general questions in a workshop with digital expert Max Lammer (www.lammer.org), structuring and preparing them in detail so that we can act as buddy companies within the framework of the Innovation2Company initiative (www.innovation2company.at) from the Chambers of Commerce of Vienna and Lower Austria.

The two Chambers of Commerce (WK), Vienna and Lower Austria, are continuing the successful “Innovation to Company” initiative together this year, 2020. Three established companies from each federal state are looking for start-ups for specific innovation tasks. The aim is to foster collaborations between corporates and start-ups to create new business.

In the last five years, 25 challenges have been successfully resolved and collaborations initiated.
