Michael Fischer takes over management
At the beginning of June, Mr Dr Michael Fischer, MSc took over as sole managing director of METUSAN TURNING.
After completing his Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, Michael Fischer earned his doctorate in Industrial Engineering – Mechanical Engineering from TU Wien. From 2002, he held various commercial and technical positions at Bombardier, including Director of Strategic and System Purchasing from 2006 to 2009. From 2011, he headed Product Management and Bid Engineering, and most recently, the entire engineering division for street and city trams. From 2015, he was Managing Director of Powerlines Products GmbH and led the global product business.
At the end of 2018, he moved to the DVORAK Group of Companies and was responsible for international business development at Johann Dvorak Produktions-GmbH. He was initially Managing Director of METUSAN FUTURE GmbH and was then additionally appointed Managing Director of METUSAN TURNING as of 27.05.2020.
Our Corporate Identity
As you will no doubt have noticed, we appear in red and white – colours that symbolise our homeland. Our new logo also features the colour red and is intended to continue to remind you of us and our homeland.
Alongside the colour, the following associations should be evoked:
- Machining: symbolised by the removed chip
- Sigma: stands for precision in our work philosophy, where low process variation plays a major role
Both the figurative mark and the word METUSAN are protected by European trademark law.

Our website has been completely overhauled – in both content and design.
Alongside the new, brand-compliant corporate identity, the focus was on useful and structured insights into our company.
