Quality

Top quality is more than just a buzzword

Since 1995, we have been ISO 9001 certified and rely on a well-thought-out quality management system with effective processes. Clear objectives and an individually tailored quality and inspection plan ensure that customer requirements are precisely implemented. Our experienced, highly qualified QA/QC staff ensure requirements are met and perform precise measurements of even the most complex geometries and specifications.

Sustainability is not a trend for us, but part of the production process, confirmed by independent international certification institutes. Through continuous optimisation of our systems and processes, we ensure that our manufacturing operates in a resource-efficient, reliable and effective manner.

Rely on our integrated management system: we deliver products and solutions that meet the highest quality standards and are technically state-of-the-art.

High-precision measuring instruments for complex measurements

To ensure accuracy, we rely on state-of-the-art precision measuring technology and automated measurement systems at all production stages.

These systems enable us to detect even the smallest deviations and ensure that each component precisely matches the specified requirements.

We use over 2,000 calibrated testing equipment, as well as coordinate and contour measuring machines, automated digital measuring microscopes, hardness testing equipment, and calibration measuring machines.

Our demand for precision strengthens our reputation for reliability and thoroughness – across industries and according to individual customer requirements.

Sustainability

Our responsibility for the environment, people and society

METUSAN TURNING acts with a view to the future.

Our sustainability strategy is based on the three ESG pillars (Environmental, Social, Governance) and makes an active contribution to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We take a holistic approach: from resource conservation and fair working conditions to transparent corporate governance.

E – Environmental (Environment & Climate)

We minimise our ecological footprint through state-of-the-art technologies, closed loops and the highest standards.

  • Resource conservation & Circular economy:

95% of the metal shavings generated during production are recycled. We filter oil mist from the air for reuse and clean components in an environmentally friendly closed-loop system.

  • Renewable energies

We generate our own solar power via photovoltaic systems and use 100% regional bioenergy (wood chips) for our local heating system – this enables us to save around 1,200 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

  • Certified Environmental Management

Our commitment is certified according to ISO 14001 and awarded a Bronze EcoVadis sustainability rating. We guarantee high standards in waste management as well as REACH and RoHS compliance for our products.

S – Social

Our employees are our foundation. We foster talent and guarantee a safe working environment.

  • Top Training Company & Staff Development

As a state-certified training company, we train commercial and technical talent in our own workshops. Furthermore, as a co-founder of the Weinviertel Mechatronics Academy (WMA) and the Weinviertel Technical Academy (WTA), we are actively combating the regional shortage of skilled workers.

  • Health and Safety at Work:

A safe working environment is of paramount importance. Through systematic hazard prevention, state-of-the-art protective equipment and regular training, we protect the health of our team.

G – Governance

Responsible and ethical leadership builds trust, transparency, and stability.

  • Code of Conduct

We stand for positive, respectful and non-discriminatory coexistence. Violations can be reported through our whistleblower system and will be treated confidentially.

  • Risk Management, Business Continuity, Facility Security, Legal Compliance:

We systematically analyse potential corporate risks (e.g. incidents, IT security, market risks, operational safety/GewO [German Industrial Code], blackouts, natural events, and many more) to remain capable of action at all times.

  • Data Protection

The conscientious and strictly GDPR-compliant handling of personal data is supervised by external IT experts.
